Can i ask a dumb tab question

Guys... im not a tab shooter but got one to try and hate it....
How do you keep this type on your finger with no bungee ??? Dang...I feel stupid, but I never tried this...

You might try putting a dongle on it. Works pretty well.

The cord on my tab is just ordinary paracord, and the dongle is commonly available at outdoor stores, if you want to try one.

pull the leather bit down till its snug against your finger and tie a new knot in the cord

A dongle!!  Great word McDave--- I've removed these from old camp chair covers and used them just like your tab, but now I know what it's called.
There's a little spring on the snares I use for coyotes called the Whammie.  Dongle might be an even cooler word.
Sorry OP--- as McDave said-- that little device will hold it in place.  I use shock cord, set my dongle tightly against my middle finger and then put on and remove using the stretch of the shock cord.

I've been making my own tabs forever and simply serve the strands together; just like tying on a nock set.
