Well, last night & this morning I put a total of 4 coats of wax on my bow. I'm using KIT carnauba car wax paste. I'll be putting one another coat when it gets a little sunnier out side & the Temps get little higher. What wax do you use to help keep out moisture..

I use the 'Tru-Oil' wax-it may be called 'stock sheen and conditioner'? I am at work right now but if it is vastly different I'll post later.
Auto wax works well too, like the stuff you are using-Turtle Wax works well.
But I would not rely on any wax alone.

Sorry, I do have Tru-oil under the wax... they are calling for 30% of rain on Opening day.

I use min-wax. seems to work well

I've never used wax on a bow. Tru-Oil has always worked just fine for me by itself.  Pat
