I don't like to ask for favors, but I wouldn't mind prayers for a cancer cure. Right now it's in my left shoulder, along with two torn tendons. Hopefully a PET scan will figure out where the cancer came from, so it can be treated along with the shoulder.

I remember a couple on here where the lady went thru cancer and called it "Pickles" for she refused to give it the C-word as she felt it had too much power that way!

Hopefully, God's will be for a cure and a long life afterwards!

Cancer came from the lungs. I start chemo right after Christmas. Hopefully some day I can get the rotator cuff repaired also, so I can draw a bow again. If anyone has any chemo/cancer stories they want to share, feel free to email me.

I started chemo early on the 22nd. 5 more rounds to go. Nasty Stuff. I am also doing radiation to my left shoulder. Cancer shows in my left hip, knee, and foot. Spot in my spine, and a couple other places. Hopefully the chemo will kill it, and I won't need additional radiation. There is a large mass in my upper left lung. I think they hesitate to use radiation there because of scar tissue, which diminishes lung capacity. It's hard to believe that this summer I was strong, and exercising regularly. Now I am as weak as a kitten.

OUr parents (or at least mine) and especially grand-parents were plagued with infectious diseases. Now today, we're dying from degenerative diseases where our bodies degenerate and cant fight whatever is out there and heart, cancer, dementia, Type II diabetes, etc, are killing us slowly.

First sign of most of these ailments IS the ailment surfacing, but it's been there a long time waiting for a "trigger event".

I swear by nutritional supplements.  Stuff isn't in our food anymore that our bodies need to fight off these degenerative stuff...

Sorta like running a Ferrari without changing oil... it'll go a long time, but  not as long or well as if we keep the oil changed.

If you're interested, I'll share what I've learned by phone or email.  No cure all, but it helps our bodies fight back!

Jim there are new immunotherapy drugs coming out that work better than chemo for some cancers. Check with your oncologist to see if any have been approved for your type of cancer. Also have him check for any clinical trials that may be open for your type of cancer. I just started a trial on an immunotherapy drug on sarcoma type cancers. There are no chemo drugs that will kill what I have as it is a rare form. The side effects are much less than chemo too.
Above all keep a positive attitude, find reasons to laugh because cancer doesn't own you so enjoy life and laugh to spite the stuff and it will give you strength. ALWAYS remember God loves you and wants you free from cancer. He sent His Son Jesus to destroy the works of the devil and cancer is the devils work.
Doc got me started on usana's essentials when I was on chemo. They were amazing in the energy they gave me. Check them out.
