found out today that a very good friend and fishing buddy died
he had taught me so much as long as i knew him, and was an avid outdoorsman, died because of complications with a medicine he was taking for a blood clot in his lungs, was only 49, made these for him,

the top one will be shot into a lake somewheres in memory of him, the bottom will be given to his wife, if he taught me one thing about life is that you cant stress over everything, and just to relax, and have fun....he will be missed
Don't deal with me, I stole from the St Jude's Auction.

Sorry about your friend Monkey. I think making an arrow and shooting it for him is a good thing.
There is always someone that knows more than you, and someone that knows less than you, so you can always learn and you can always teach

Tough losing a friend.....great way to honor him.

I lost my best buddy this past winter to cancer. We went to school together from 4 th grade on and where together til he was called forth. So many wonderful memories, yeh we could fly. And damned if we did not, without drugs. Just went only far enough to have somemuch clean fun. I sure wish I had more time to spend in our later life doing anything with him. As we always had so much fun and woderful memories. He also was 49 like me today. So I to grieve with you.

Aaron,
Fitting tribute to a friend, as long as you remember those who go first they will always be there with you.Sorry to hear about your loss.

Tom
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

JESUS LOVES ME THIS I KNOW!!!!

To God be the glory, great things He has done!!!!!

Doc Nock

We all have stories about those lost..some who were our seniors and lived long lives...some who battled dreaded diseases...it's always harder to cope when it's something that was messed up, but in our grief, we have to remember that doc's are human too and prone to make mistakes. And with all the drugs out there to treat and heal, nobody really knows all that can happen.

My prayers that as the grief process, and it is a process, diminshes that you will be flooded with memories and warm thoughts of all you shared, not what is lost.

Life is a present and it must be shared to be enjoyed. It sounds like you two had grand times together.  He lives on in your heart!

Peace and healing to you and his loved ones in this time of loss.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
