Recently picked up a BP Mach One.  Not the prettiest bow I've own but it shoots well.  Couple of quick questions....Brace height? Between 8"-9"?  String length?  I ask because the string provided during sale has brace over 9" and I feel that is too high.
Howard Hill Halfbreed "Sol" 68" 50@29
Hoyt Buffalo 62" 45@28"

The 1976 Pearson catalog says 8 ½ to 9 ½. You can see it by following the links at    Pearson catalog library

Mine wears a 48"string and 8 1/4" brace. One of the best shooting 52" bows IMO. One of Robert Birnie's designs I believe?
We are all here because we are not all there.

It's not explicitly described in the catalogue as "Hyper Kinetic" limbed, nor does it appear to have the flattened "coordinator" section, but ....
....looks like a re-working of the BP-H52....

I picked up a Talon Swift 60" 55@28 but my draw length is 27, built by Dave Paxton, current brace height is 6 1/2 inches I think it should be over 7 inches.  Opinions please?
