Can anyone help me complete the story on these two bows?#1,Tamerlane 63'' built in sight and flipper type rest in window, brass medallion looks like rosewood limb caps24#@24''.#2Kodiak magnum 52'' black medallion with silver outline and standing bear with the word bear underneath.Rosewood sight window but not all the way through the riser.Says EXP.27# on riser.Neither bow has a serial number. Thanks

PAPALAPIN

The 52" with the black Bear medallion sounds like a '61.  Exp was a designation for expramental and that would be correct timing for  a '61 K Mag.

The Tamerlane could be anything froma '63' through a '67

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.

These bows are just begining to be shot again.Any ideas to where the brace height should be?

wadde

The Kmag had a brace height of 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 the Tamerlane would be good at 7 to 8. Put flemish strings on them and you can twist the string to get the best performance higher or lower of those numbers. Do not use fast flight strings as the bows can not handle the shock they produce. Good luck.

Thanks ,strings are new,flemish.
