Great bows & super good shooters...I believe Groves filed chapter 13 about 3-4 years ago..But there a lots of Groves bows out there...again they are really good shooters and somewhat collectable...bowdoc

thanks guys as i am looking at getting the one in the adds here as a start to collecting.the guy says it has some cracking in the glass so i guess as long as it is not across the limb it would be ok. what are your thoughts on this guys thanks again. jeff

Oh yeah groves used a hardner in there finish,so they could dry the bows in a hot box.About 1 hr dry time rather then 24 hrs.dry time. That caused the old finish to crack.Looking somewhat like aligator skin.......As long as the cracks are not at the glue joints it should be fine.As Rich mentioned you may want to stripe it down and respray it....bowdoc

Hey Jeff not sure...as I have not used them for about 6 months. But bows that I shipped going out of the USA...I used a couple different air-fright shipping companys...DHL was one, there also was one here in Seattle called Air-Born(not sure if there still called that)  I used Fed-X a couple times but FX was a little spendy. But if you like next week I could check and see the rates as I have some shipping to do...Like I said not sure right now,but I shipped 5 bows in one box to Italy..it was only 100 bucks US funds.About 20.00 per bow, thats pretty cheep..I shipped one to the Netherlands last summer and it was only 33.00 US funds.I would be more then happy to check for you,If need be I would also be happy to provide that info to anyone wanting to ship you a bow if you like...Thas BS a man can't get a bow shipped to him cheep..I would be more then happy to do whatever I can to help.I know one other thing..hey your not a cop are you? Just kidding about that. But I wrote down on the paper work for shipping the bows were a gift from me.We save dude in Italy 180.00 in Taxes on the bows..Do you have to avoid that tax as well..Keep me posted bowdoc
