1955-56 Bear Cub Brace Height

I went a bit crazy being home for the last 4 weeks and bought a bunch of 50's Bears.  The real surprise (so far) is a RH 46# '55-56 Cub in real nice shape.  It sends an arrow downrange very nicely considering it's lighter draw weight (for me) and the horribly overbuilt string that I was using.  So I need to make a decent string and see what this Cub can really do...

What's the recommended brace height on this bow?

I may have to find a little heavier Cub to hunt with next year - it's a fun little bow!

Also on the bow rack is a 56# '58 Alaskan that bears more than a passing resemblance for a few 'modern' hybrids I've seen.  A 51# '58 Grizzly will be joining them in a few days, then a '62 Grizz.  Also have my eye on a '58 Kodiak in hunting weight.

I'd try about a 7" brace height on the cub.

I have one that is almost identical except for the weight (60# @ 28"), and it seems to shoot well at 7" measured from the deepest part of the dish in the grip.  I haven't experimented much with brace height yet, as 60# is a little more than I'm comfortable with, and by the time I've strung and unstrung and shot a few arrows, my muscles get tired and I have trouble getting it strung again.  All that said, 7" seems to work well.  Mine also seems to prefer arrows with a 50-55# spine.

Both of mine (I bought another) seem to like a brace of 7-1/4" (deepest part of the brip to the string Rubiolio)
Since the first post I made here I went VERY crazy and now have 13 or 14 old Bears.  All but one are mid to late 50's and all but the above Cub are 50-56# (most are 53#) and ready to hunt with!

I just twisted mine up to about 7 1/4 and shot a couple of dozen arrows, feels good was definitely too low before. How about arrow weight? I'm shooting 2115 aluminum 28 1/2 long with 125gr heads, which seems about the right spine, is this a heavy enough arrow for these old bows? If not is there a good way to add weight, I've got a bunch of these arrows.

I have a 31# Bear Cub that shoots from either side.  The serial # is VN721 with a capital A above the number 7, 62".. Any info would be helpfull.  Wife likes to shoot it.
