I was just made aware of your web site today.I'm along time time archer who in his youth spent about every summer in Grayling at Fred Bear's museum.My father left me a number of bows (approx 20) and at least 60-70 dozen cedar arrows and other collectables (broadheads,quivers etc etc)I'd like to begin to get a better understanding of what I actually have.The first bow I've been asked about is a Tice and Watts Spartan Hunter, does anyone know anything about this.I'm guessing late 60's early 70's vintage  :archer:

Hi Greg,
I talked to you today at the Sport Shop. I had the cedars and asked about your arrows. Check on the pow wow forum. I posted some info there that you can check on.

I'll check it out.Thanks for responding.I work as a travelling salesman and am doing the hotel thing tonight.This weekend I'll try and get a list of what I have.

SERGIO VENNERI

Hi Greg;
        I have a few Tice & Watts bows and Brochures, let me know if there is any way that I can help ya. just Pm me.

PAPALAPIN

I also have a Tice & Watts Spartan Hunter.  They are hard to find.

As I understand it, Tice & Watts were engineers for the Space Program in Huntsville.  THey were the first to use CAD programs to design bows.  Whatever they did worked because they produced some great shooters.

Although not very well known, they are sought out by collectors.

Sergio sent me a copy he made of one oftheir brochures a while back.

As far as asking questions about old bows, this is the place to do it, not the POWWOW.

The most important part of your hunting setup is the broadhead.  The rest is just the delivery system.
