i cant preach enough how important the grip is, lately my shooting has been going down hill and it turns out my grip pressure was on the left side of the bow instead of straight, this was causing m all sorts of bow tourque and could not figure out why my shooting was going down hill, i simply wasent gripping the bow straight unreal the difference it makes in the shooting very important, is there a diagram on how the grip should line up so its going straight back instead of an angle?

Yes. You may have seen it already... Arne has a very clear diagram you can find here.

now when yall grip the bow do you make sure the string is centered with the limbs then base the grip on that?

I try to make sure my grip With That Bow doesnt change from shot to shot.  It matters for me.  Different bows have different needs.  There is some basic geometry strategy that helps guide you.

I will work with the blind bale with a new bow shooting close to find the grip pressure point that lets the bow jump straight to target on release. Then make sure my hand is in the SAME place every shot.
shoot straight shoot often
