I read a post the other day on here and I can't find it. I've had TP forever and I have been snap shooting. It's worked for me Okay, I've killed several animals. But deep down I knew I needed a anchor everyshot. Somebody on here said they looked at a spot on their riser when they drew the bow. I tried it and it instantly worked. I can hold anchor and look at the spot on the riser and look at the target. I can hold anchor and not release, While aiming I can look at the riser and hold longer. Thanks guys.

Good for you!  I think the post you mentioned referenced an article in Aug-Sept 2015 issue of Traditional Bowhunter, Three Common Shooting Mistakes, by Denny Sturgis.  I've reread the article several times, as I make all three of them regularly.

I find that if I'm relaxed and shooting for fun, I don't need to do that, but when I feel any pressure, it sure helps to focus on a spot on the back of the riser to help me relax enough to get to full draw.  Then I keep focusing on the spot for a second or two so I can check my body alignment.  Then when I feel like everything is okay, I can focus on the target and aim.
