I was fortunate enough to take this nice buck in the afternoon on Veteran's day out of one of the best rut funnels I know of. From the time I saw him to the time he was dead was probably less than 30 seconds. Crazy how fast it can happen. The shot was about 12 yards broadside and I sent a big snuffer through both his lungs. I am always impressed by what these heads can do to a deer. The bow was a recurve that I built, 50lbs @ 28 inches. The best part about it was sharing the recovery with my dad. Just thought I would share, good luck to everyone the rest of the fall.

Bronz here is a photo of the bow, although I did add an elevated rest to it, I felt like it gave me some better clearance.

Thank you, the bow is 62" 50#@28". Arrow was a true flite 2018 that I bought at an antique store in Michigan while on vacation with my family haha. I refletched it with 4, 5.5" shield cuts in a 60×120 orientation and tipped it with a big 200gr snuffer. Total arrow weight around 630.
Aluminum arrows and big Snuffers, I like your style!

Great buck and gorgeous bow. You have some real talent. What I liked best was your statement that the best part was sharing the recovery with your dad. As an aging dad, I can tell you that it was special to him too.
