Those are very cool slabs of stone... The drift wood threw me off.... I see it now... Great back ground for a bow. :thumbsup:
I have considered doing such but was afraid I couldn't get the back flat enough to mate to the boo. Any insight on how you did it.
I just ent at it with a farriers rasp amd paid attention to my plane of work. I know some people use a belt sander and just hold the back parallel to the sander and go for it. Whatever you take off to flatten the bow will be replaced with boo.
