A friend of mine a few years ago sent me a box full of wood scraps that he cut to size for knife scales.
I haven't looked too much though it because I like using stabilize wood.
But while looking at some of the Quilted Maple I found this pair of Birdseye.
I think that's gonna get put on one of my small blades. :thumbsup:
Those will look good on a knife.
Those will look gorgeous once you get a little clear coat on there to make the grain pop!
Can't wait to see how this turns out!
Got the scales epoxied on last night.
Hopefully I get a chance to at least see what they are going to look like tonight.
Got the handle done and the blade roughed in.
I'm anxious to see this after the Lyn-Speed is on.
