The bucks are chasing does like crazy down here. My season has been so slow this year that when this doe gave me the chance this morning, I did not turn the opportunity down.

Bisch, do you do most of your hunting from natural ground blinds? pop-ups? Tripods? Just wondering what works best in your area of TX?
I use home made ground blinds or tree stands or tripods. I let the area tell me what I need to make a good set up. One place I hunt, I set up in an old delapidated barn and shoot thru the openings in the siding. The deer walk right by this barn almost every day and never pay a bit of attn to it! I like the ground blinds the best, both for concealmant, and shot.
