Well I got to go "deer" hunting this week. The deer did not cooperate but I did manage to knock over a nice bearded hen turkey and a cool looking dalmation boar!

Thanks everybody!

And here is how the turkey evolved for me! Took one side of the breast, stuffed it with boudin and cream cheese, wrapped it in bacon, and put in the smoker for 5hrs this afternoon.

That looks delicious. Was the bird juicy and tender or on the dry side?

It was no butterball but the bacon keeps it from drying out! That being said, I think this is my new favorite wild turkey recipe. It was fantastic!

Congrats Bisch,In my part of Tx we call big ol rusty bucks Cods.For example"I had a big ol Cod come thru this morning" :biglaugh: :dunno:
