Havent been able to do much hunting due to many things going on in my life ( not all bad things )
I did get to go out last week and killed my first Aoudad sheep , not only one but I got two the same morning. Both were taken in the rocky cliffs just outside Kerrville Tx on my friends ranch. All free range hunting , I have been after these things going on 3 years now. They were in the rut and he was pushing the yew all over and thats what got them both shot , my arrow went right through the male and stuck about 20in in the yew. She made it about 20yds and fell he only went 75yds and was done ( 750gr arrow and a TreeShark )
Also here is a pic of a hog I shot several weeks ago. The pics are off my phone and are small and I dont know how to make them bigger , anyway going after deer now that I have some time back in the woods. Good luck to everyone and have a safe season.......

Outstanding. What bow, weight and broadhead did you use. That is a great deal getting two for one.
Nice hog.

WELCOME BACK SAM!! always good to see your success photos on here..CONGRATS
Good to have you back in the woods, Sam. Congrats on the twofer, those are quite unique.
Congrats, good to know your back in the woods. I'm doubtful the critters are happy about it though!
The Aoudad are so cool! Do you eat them?
Congrats man, you sure made up for lost time. Sheesh, you guys in TX kill me..
Bow is a Tall Tines , mid 60s at my just over 30in draw , arrow GT 75/95 125gr steel broadhead adpt. ,100gr brass insert and a Simmons TreeShark broadhead , 2219 aluminum footing.
Yes we eat them , a lot of folks don't like the meat but I have had it many times ( even won a wild game cooking contest once with aoudad meat ) . We don't eat very much store bought meat , pretty much live on game meat we love bear. With that said I might not be the best judge on it but I'll eat just about anything that don't eat me first.....

Great job Sam ! I'm right there with ya on that eating just about anything that don't eat me first. Haven't had an opportunity to try aoudad or bear but certainly would.
