This doe came in with a handful of others just before 8:00 this morning. They all milled around for a while before starting to move on and this doe finally gave me a good shot. Fifteen yards, quartered away from a natural ground blind with my GN Critter Gitter, Surewood fir arrow and a Grizzly ElGrande 200. Hit was a little back and high, but a solid liver hit with some far lung. She made it about 80 yards and was found in the bean field. I waited an hour before tracking; probably needed just a couple of minutes if that. She is my first single bevel kill and I am impressed; the hole in her liver was huge.
Here is a deer's eye view of my blind.
