Needed one more for the freezer ;) Went to a public land property I know pretty well and set up on the edge of a big swamp. Saw 10 or so total and took the largest of a foursome about 9 am! She saw me as I drew and quartered to me a tad...I aimed further forward and centered her heart. Was about a 5 yard shot! She went 30 yards crashing through the ice! Long drag out but the table fair will be worth it!!! Shot her with my tried and true Schafer and a VPA broadhead.

Congrats!
Wow 5 yards that is awesome, congrats
I'm looking at a SIKA hunt in Maryland in 2012. Would appreciate any wisdom...
Don't try to hunt them like whitetails!
Sikas are special imo. Just a neat animal that habits some beautiful areas. Once you hear one bugle across the bay like an elk.........well, you get hooked quick. Bob puts in lots of marsh time for these little critters and has a full freezer to show for it. Man are they tasty. Congrats again.
Very cool congrats Bob!
good job, congrats
