That is great!!!! Stick with it friend, I'm certain you'll have many more stories to come.
Funny coincidence, my first trad deer was a button buck, taken with a 50# Bear Black Panther Hunter, cedar arrow and a Magnus 2 blade glue on, next to a corn field!!!! :bigsmyl: I bet your still smiling. ;)
:clapper: Wow first trad kill and from the ground! Congratulations
Thank you for the kind encouragement , all of you. My next attempt will be with a Hickory long bow, I purchased in the spring. I am a better shot with the longbow than the recurve so I am excited at getting a shot with it.
Great story!! Those older bows still do a fine job!!!
Cool beans! :)
:clapper:
Congrats on your first!

Cold snap has hit PA. I expect great movement the next few days , praying for an opportunity to take one with the long bow between Thursday and Saturday evening now.
Congrats
No luck didn't get out til Saturday and didn't see anything first day out not seeing deer. They should be moving pretty good now though.
Congrats on your first
