Hey all,

I'm looking for some osage in Colorado. Anyone have a line on a stave I could use to build a selfbow?

I'm willing to go cut a tree, buy a stave, etc.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas?

Thx guys...I was hoping to find something locally to avoid shipping or to go cut down myself...

Know anybody in OK or KS? They both have it,never seen any in CO the few times I've been there. Shipping would hurt on a stave.....

D-back59, you are a good man. I was about to offer a 1/4 log but I'm more like 7 hrs from Denver.

Elkshooter, my 2-cents is to get whatever wood you can lay a hand on and practice making some Kid Bows. They really help you learn scraping and tiller.

I live in Monument and am going to Texas to hunt in Dec. I was going to pick up one from my brother while there. PM me, I'm sure I could bring more than one back.
