highlight of the year so far was taking this nice Bushbuck walk and stalk, shrew longbow woodsman BH

Its nice you finally got one, After all the hours you and Nige put in, its definalty well earnt and deserved. I was starting to think you would give up on the walk and stalk and come and steal my hide.
When i was told you had got one, i new me and my water hole were safe. Addicted to the walk and stalk.

Way to go! I passed a shot at a Bushbuck when I hunted Africa a few years ago. I kick myself every time I think about it!  :banghead:

oh boy Allen   :saywhat:   they are tricky to get pretty elusive animals difficult to get a second chance at.

we hunted really hard to get onto these Bushbuck but they are pretty territorial and if you spot one in a particular spot he will likely be there the next day, they like thick bush and thick cover along rivers.

i shot this one when he was on a river bank and i stalked in using the soft quite dry river sand.
