So a while back I tried my hand at forging a San-Mai blade and wasn't happy with my results. After a few more less than satisfactory attempts, I decided to shoot Mr. Karl Anderson an email with the questions I had.
He could tell exactly what I was doing by the photos I sent and really helped me refine my forge welding procedure.
