Title: bought a blade made a handle
Post by: Msturm on July 04, 2016, 04:32:00 PM
I wanted a quick project.

The blade came from Fleabay. it is pretty nice!  The handle is recycled mahogany flooring  (11cents a board foot) from  Reuse Hawaii (a pretty cool store full of dirt cheap hard woods in small sections)

The inlay is Caribou antler my dad took some years back.

This one was kind of an experiment. I wanted to see what kind of steel was coming from this knife maker. My plan is to buy three matching blades and make a set for my father, my brother and myself. I am impressed with the quality and that purchase will be forthcoming!

Thanks for looking.

Very nice job on little knife, Your Father and Brother will be very happy when they get their's.

I have bought a number of SS knife blanks from
E*** and was also impressed with the quality. Might be time to try a few Damascus blades.
