I want to try laminating different species of wood and antler to wood for my handles. What type of glues work best for that.
I want my handles to hold up to hard use and have been using multi layers of tung oil as a finish.
Does anyone know if true oil is made up of several different oils or is it a pure oil?
Any suggestions would be great!

titebond II is what I been useing . about the tung oil dont have a clue .
I'd try contacting the company about their product. I have found this kind of situation, companys are more than happy to help. And sometimes they get a kick out of what you are doing with their product.
Slow cure epoxy from the hardware store. That is all I ever use and I always use tung oil as a finsh. The two work well together.
Post a picture of the laminated handle you did Ron! Good to see you are around still! LOL!
Thanx guys......I suppose i'm on the right track then.....I have some of Brownells glass bed left over and might try it just to use it up.
