I love those Russel blades. My buff skinner has been used on three elk and even a coyote and it's the most user friendly skinner I've ever had.
Yours handle is way prettier than mine. Mine is made from a left over piece of maple lam riser wood. Tough but not all that aesthetic.

Thanks. I have another one onthe bench right now. I just finished a knife for my son. It's ebony with a cow horn bolster. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.
