After hours and hours of practice - it all paid off tonight when I arrowed a mature doe with my recurve. I shot her with my Iron Mountain recurve 46# @ 26" - Gold Tip arrow with a Magnus head. After sitting through 3 hours of constant wind this ol' girl snuck in behind me and fed on some acorns. When she got to 25 yards I let the arrow fly and it found it's mark - right behind the shoulder and lodged in the far shoulder. She only ran about 60 yards and I watched her go down. What a thrill. I don't think I have ever been so excited over a harvest - I am still on cloud 9!!

Nice! I met the Iron Mt. bowyer at a shoot in Hickory, NC...he's a nice fellow and has a good reputation.
I like the feathers and 'look' of your arrows, too...Harriss in NC
I agree Woodduck, he is a nice man - he has made 2 bows for me. The recurve in the pic was my first and he built me a longbow. They both shoot like a dream and I couldn't be happier. Thanks again everybody!!
