Here is one of the best recurves ever built! This one was built in 1997 in the Howatt plant in Yakima, WA. She measures 51@28 according to my scales. This one has a shedua riser with purple heart accents and brown glass. Not many of these with brown glass. She is smoking fast and a really good shooter.
When I received her I noticed one limb appeared twisted. Upon close inpection, I noticed that one of the belly string grooves (one pictured) was filed slightly off center. I widened it slightly, and the limb fell right in line. I sealed the new, wider groove with super glue to weather proof it. It doesn't look bad, and the overall bow is in great shape. I believe the tips are phenolic and it's a FF safe bow, but am not sure. You had better ask Howatt.
I'm just not a recurve man. I want to get what I paid for her, which is $150 + actual shipping.
