G'day guys,

Seeing as things seem to be a bit slow on the African forum I was just wanting to read all the preparations & plans those fellow hunters of the dark continent who are taking the rains in their hands and hunting there this year?

I am longing to return to Namibia myself but seeing as I have a black bear hunt booked for June in BC it'll be mid 2015 that will see me stalk the sandy regions of Western Africa again.

Namibia again for us this coming July. I love that place. We may have an open spot for one if anyone is looking to go in 2014. One guy in our party had to cancel due to work.

I am videoing a leopard hunt in SA and will be hunting for cape buffalo on my time. Got the heavy longbow back out and ready to do some stalking.

I'm leaving May 30th for Namibia. Shooting a 60" A@H ACS Lb. 60#@28" (I draw 28").Shooting GT Kinetic Hunters 29". 75 gr insert 175 gr.points. Arra wt 580gr. Can't Wait.

Have changed my arra setup. Now shooting G/T Kinetic - 28 3/4" 100 gr. insert and 250gr. VPA Penetrators. 20.06 foc total arra wt. 656 gr From a 60' 60# A&H ACS. Backup Bow is a Scafer Silvertip Rec. 65#@29" (I draw 28"so.62#) Beman Classic 340's - 29" with 75 gr. insert 200gr. Simmons safaris. Total arra wt. is 615.

My hands are up. :) Leaving in less than 48 hours for my first Africa adventure. Will be traveling with my good friend Jerry Russell. I keep hearing that once I go I will surely go back. :)

My wife set up a hunt for the two of us at Matlabas Game Hunters, RSA. Looking forward to our hunt, practicing every day.

We just got back from SA a couple weeks ago. It was an awesome trip and can't wait to go back. I should post some stuff when I get caught up.
