I finally managed to get the photos taken of my Black Wildebeest to Tradtusker to be scanned!
Here he is, a beautiful bull taken on my recent trip to Africa Jag Safaris in Namibia. He's scored in the number 2 spot in SCI for bow-killed Black Wildebeest :D :D :D I shot him from an elevated blind with a 60# 62" Horne Combo Longbow (not the Morrison in the pic), shooting a Beeman MFX 400 tipped with a 210gn Magnus I two-blader......in the ass!

What an amazing animal. ASAT you cant go wrong.
Nice mug shot Rob! You and that beast go same facial hair :biglaugh:
That's the #1 ass shot beast in my book, whatever works eh! I mean shot in the ass, Rob, not shot by an ass.
Way to go, a beautiful trophy.
Well, heck. Anyone could have shot that beastie...with all that hair covering his eyes, you could have walked up and poked him!
Great trophy - congrats.

3" actually ;) I started fletching with 4 3" parabolics a while back. I find them to stabilise just as well as 3 5" I get an extra 8fps & they are utterly silent. Another benefit is that they don't flatten down so badly when wet.
I was a little sceptical at first, as I only usually shoot big ol' Magnus I & Zwickey Delta 2 blades, but the flight is perfect!
Nice looking animal! glad you fellas had a great hunt....
