Title: My son's birthday.
Post by: b.glass on February 13, 2013, 07:32:00 AM
He was born on Valentine's Day. He would have been 24 tomorrow.

I'm not looking for sympathy. He was a good guy and I just want to honor that.

It's neat, Bona, how you keep his Memory Alive this way...

Prayers to remember and celebrate his life and let go of the pain of the loss.

Lord must've needed him more...

Keep the Son in your eyes!

Is this pic too big?

The big guy on the left is Greg. Christmas 2006, three months before his 18th birthday.

He never could smile right for the camera. Makes me smile.

Doc, I don't think it's scriptural but if he makes us angels I bet he made Greg one. Oh, he was'nt perfect! But he was pretty cool.

I'm trying to post a picture of Greg when he was two years old. It's a picture of a picture and not the best quality but I want you to see his natural smile. Photobucket is being a pain.

The picture is resized on Photobucket but when I copy it to post it is extremely large.

I just got shot his tribute arrow. I used one of my hunting arrows and wrote his name and the date on it. I had pondered doing a rabbit hunt first but didn't. When I got out to the truck at Mom's I flushed one out of the dried up Pompus grass where I had parked. A hunt was on.

For the short story, I took two shots with his arrow. It was tipped with a field point so I was aiming for the head. Missed both times by like an inch.

Would have been cool getting my first rabbit with his arrow.

That arrow flying out over the field sure was pretty.

Bona;
If it's o.k. I'll still like to wish Greg a Happy Birthday...He was created by our God and a date was set for him to be born by our heavenly Father and Birthdays are to be remembered...I'm sure in your own mind you sung a Happy Birthday song to him like I do to my Mom each year when her birthday comes around...God Bless ya Bona!

With help from Dave Landis I got one picture to work. Thanks Dave! The other is not. Did I mention PB is a pain?
