Some time ago I ask that you pray for my Daughter Kasey, she has had two miscarages and had just gotten pregnant again,to make a long story short she's in the hospital she'll be in there for months until the baby is 34 weeks if it makes it,alot of complications that I don't completely understand but I know that she's trying her best to cope with the situation and that she could use your prayers, thanks Larry.
 Prayers for strength, physical and mental to endure and a healthy baby.
I'm torn from being angry that she hid this from until yeasterday to worrying about the risk to her, she's stubborn like me so I know there's no talking to her about the risk,I just pray all turns out well.I know this is the most important thing in her life, that this baby survies and is healthy,I'm just worried about her.
You said a mouthful when you said she's a lot like you, Larry! :)
Prayers for her and the Baby according to His will...and for you and the family to find strength, peace and the love to support her in her choices.
Keep the Son in your eyes!

Praying for all that you need from God's abundance.
Lord, may Your love and power be with Kasey and all her family. We ask that You and Your angels keep her and her baby in this time of trial, and give them the peace and strength that only You can. Bless them and keep them, and may Your will be done in all things. All this we pray in Jesus' most holy and precious Name. Amen.

Just found out they did an emergency Csection on her,the baby was 15 weeks early weighing 1 lb 8 ounces,my daughter is home recovering and the baby has a long hospital stay ahead of her, thanks for your prayers and support.Larry
Rough call, Larry...sorry it happened that way.
I did share privately how my friend and his wife did En Vitro and had 3 eggs implant and she had 3 or 4 "magnesium" treatments to stop false labor too early... she said it was terrifying as she thought it relaxed her to the point if she went to sleep, she'd stop breathing...
Hope Mom does ok...and that God's will for the Wee One will be recovery and come out charging! they do amazing things with Premie's these days!
Lord in your Mercy...
Larry, do you have a grandson or daughter?
Father, we know you are the Great Physician, who hears and answers our prayers. We ask you to sustain your creation you formed in the mother's womb; to give breath, strength, and a stubborn will to live, protected from virus and bacteria by your loving hands. May the child grow in your shadow, look to your light, and follow your path. In Jesus name, we ask. Amen.
Grand Daughter,emma grace.
Prayers for God's loving arms to surround Emma Grace
Beautiful name, Larry.
May God's Grace rest on her and protect and strengthen her daily to come home full of vim and vigor.
Prayers for peace for the rest of the family during this trying time!
The neonatal nurses will tell you the baby girls have a better chance statistically - but that's just the way God made them -to continue his creation - tougher than us guys. The C-section is a lot less stress on a premie than a natural birth - that's a BIG PLUS for your grand daughter.
If your daughter can "pump", the immununities she passes to "Emma Grace" will give her the best chance.
My daughter (our miracle girl) was 14 weeks early- dark hair and fingernails scratching - she turns 19 next month. She was 1 lb-13oz, swollen, and not given any chance to live. She lost half a pound of fluid weight the first week, dropping to 1 lb-3oz. She was the size of a large grey squirrel w/o the tail - 13" long.
Hundreds of prayers and 100 days in the hospital later, we brought her home on a breathing and heart monitor at 4 lb 12oz. Jaimi is working on homework as I type. :)
I pray for your miracle girl too: That you get to hold her, when she weighs more than the blanket. That she smiles at you and laughs out loud. That she holds your pinky in her little hand, and you thank God for His "Grace" in your and your daugther's lives.
If my wife or I can help in any way, or can answer any questions, please PM a phone number and we'll be glad to give you a call.
God Bless.
At Wednesday evening Bible Study we will be sending prayers from 47 people. May the Lord Bless you Kasey and may Jesus hold you and your baby in his arms.
Emma Grace is indeed a beautiful name! May God grant Emma Grace a long, healthy, and prosperous life! Prayers for all sent in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Praying for little Emma, your daughter and you.
Tim my daughter is doing everything you mentioned.
Awesome Larry. As you've learned this is a very high-stess event, not only for the baby, but for your daughter and her spouse. I saw serveral couples struggle "relationally" during such an event, especially when there where serious child health complications. Please encourage both parents to seek counselling from a trusted clergy staff or hospital counsellor - it will go a long way to recovery: spiritually, and relationally. They have a tough (and long) road ahead, even when things go well physically with the baby.
Praying for all these things...
Larry,
Prayers on the way from our family for yours.
Jed
Just an update,Emma is holding her own so far, hasn't gained much weight but were still hoping she will, thanks for youe continued prayers Larry.
Prayers for continued healing
Larry, the first couple of weeks are the worst for weight gain. Those premies go from a God-designed perfectly-protected womb, to the real world of stress too early. It takes a few days to adapt from the shock of change in conditions.
Jesus has Emma Grace in his hands; may we all trust Him to protect her in this new world. Continued prayers for her growing body, mind, and spirit.
How is your daughter?
Amen to Tim's words...Amen and AMEN!
Kasey is holding up well it really kills her to leave Emma but the hospital is an hour and a half away and she isn't travelling well after her hospital stay, she has a monitor which transmitts images of Emma to her computer so she can moniter all the time.I know as soon as she's able she'll be making the trip more often.
There is no doubt in my mind, Larry, that young'un of yours is tough as nails... and while having that "Simmons" caring heart, has inner strength of her Daddy, which I suspect learning over time, came from OUR FATHER and your faith.
Prayers continue for one and all thru this ordeal. Prayers for mortal strength and His peace and His will be done.
Keep the Son in your eyes, bud!
The travel/distance sure makes it tough on Mom...If Emma Grace is in B'ham, there is a Ronald McDonald House that may minimize travel. At one time (possibly still) there were hotels converted by local church associations into efficiency appartments for parents of children hospitalized for free or hardly any $$. My wife stayed in one across the street from the NICU, and I drove back and forth the 2-hrs every weekend- was in a new job and had no leave.
Praying for Kasey, and Emma Grace's good O2 sats, weight gain, less jaundice, and good nurses to get the crud out of Emma Grace's lungs.
PM Sent.
Prayers for Emma Grace, Mom and all!
I had a hand working for me that had his father in the hospital. He lived in Red Level Al and had to drive to Birmingham (not spelled right) gaily. I found his the Ronald McDonald House and they were able to contact them. The hospital also put them in touch with some outfit that gave them a place to stay for almost nothing.
Prayers sent for your daughter Larry. May God richly bless her and the baby. God bless you and you're family.
Grandpa Grinch, is your little Emma Grace gaining any weight this week? Please give us an update on her and your daughter... both in His care.
Still praying..
Prayers for you, your family, and especially Emma Grace. Had similar experiences with my wife, but through the grace of God, the right doctors brought us our two daughters. Thoguhts and prayers.
Just an update Emma is doing well, she's gained about a pound, thank you for your continued prayers.
Larry,
You don't know what that snippit of news did for this ole heart! It skipped a beat while opening this, but then it did a couple flips and hand stands...didn't know I had that in me!
Thank you Jesus!!! How wonderful... C'mon, Emma Grace...keep it up!
 :clapper: :clapper:
Praise God & prayers continue

Beautiful!!! Larry, you're a blessed man. To see the Lord sustain Emma at her size in this harsh environment outside her mom is nothing but God's hand on her tiny life. It is God himself at work in your lives - a miracle!
Prayers sent for His continued protection, for increased O2 sats, a strong heart, good vision, clear lungs, a full tummy, and full diapers (a good thing)
:clapper:
So glad to hear. Will keep up the Prayers!

Take care my friend
We surely join you in those prayers for continued improvement for Emma, Larry! Godspeed!
Keep the Son in your eyes!
Wonderful news! A Big Amen!
Thank you Lord for Emma's protection; her strength is from You.
Larry, that is a big step forward for Emma to get off the vent and continue to gain weight. Not needing the O2 gives indication of other internals doing well.
Praying for no lung, brain or vision issues to deal with. I know Kasey is doing her part, too. And may little Emma stay free of any infections or bugs that would set her back.
Please give Kasey our encouragement to hang in there - it's hard, I know. It was the prayers and encouragement from so many that got my wife and I through our premie's journey.
God Bless..
Just thought I'd let you know Kasey and emma are doing well, emma is up to a little over 3lbs now, thank you all for your continued prayers.Larry
Amen & prayers continue
Thanks for sharing, Larry.

Thanks for sharing, Larry...sorry the news isn't excellent, but it's a long way from where she was!
Takes time to grow and get all systems "GO" outside the womb!
Continued prayers for the wee one and family as you wait on God's will and healing.
Keep the Son in your eyes!
