Hello, all. I am scheduled to have surgery to repair my shoulder on Wednesday, Jan 2, and would ask for your prayers for my quick healing and my family as we go through nearly 3 months of rehab afterwards. Thanks in advance, and God bless you all in the coming year!
Prayers sent for you Matt.
Amen, prayers sent
Been there and done that. It takes you a while to get it all back but follow the advice of the Dr. They do know more about this stuff then we do. LOL!! I had to be reminded of this several times during my healing. I do have it all back and still shoot my 58# bow without pain. Good healing and God speed.......Dusty
Prayers for the docs to do well, and special prayers for YOU to follow orders and not get Cabin Fever and go stupid...not even ONCE!
Like Dusty, been there, got the t-shirt and that thing that binds your arm to your belly for a good couple weeks...
There was some pain with the getting it moving again, but my goal was shooting my bow when I was allowed... I did what they told me, only what they told me, but did it 3-4x/day which they said was ok if I was stupid enough to try!
Ha! You'll find what you can do. Just make sure that you bug them to tell you the DIFFERENCE between pain and injury to the repair! Big diff!
Go with God and all will be fine.
Keep the Son in your eyes!
Prayers sent.

Matt---We trust you are doing well and starting the healing process. Be patient, and recover well. The Lord is "mighty to save"!
And let us know how you are doing, ok?
Right about now you are think that you were very crazy to have this work done. You just have to remember that it is going to feel a lot better when it is all done. Stay focused and use your pain meds when you need them. No need to gut it out just lean on those who know what you need. Prayers for you and your wife to stay the course. Father in your healing way.......Dusty
Update: The surgery went well, but there was a tear in my rotator cuff as well as my labrum (which is what we knew about). The doc stitched everything up and I am in a sling for at least two weeks. So far, so good. Thanks for your prayers and support. Peace to you all.
Heal up well, my brother.
God's healing prayer sent.
