Things are not looking good for our friend and brother, they tried to put a stint in today but they couldn't do it as his heart was worse then what they thought. They are going to move him to another hospital yet tonight and do open heart surgery tonight. The doctors are giving him very low percentage chance of surving, however he has no chance without the surgery. We know that the doctors don't have the final answer and I know God is still in the miracle buiesness.
Prayers on the way.
I wondered why he just stopped emailing... I knew he was having numbness from elevated sugar and they changed his meds...
That danged diabetes is really something and has been kicking his fanny for some years now.
Always have my friend Dave in prayer, but will elevate even more!
David, Keep the Son in yoru eyes brother..

Brother Dave prayers From Marco, hang in there brother! Mark
Last I heard, pain and meds haven't done much to ease the constant pain...but he's in good spirits or keeping a good front at least!
Prayers continue for full restoration, David!
Keep the Son in your eyes!
Talked to Dave yesterday, The Doc gave him a couple shots in each hip and changed up some other meds. He still has pain but not as extreme as it was, plus the other meds have helped him get a couple nights sleep so Praise the Lord he has had a little relief. Still needs a Christmas miracle. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
Dear Dave,i hope you'll recover quickly. My prayers and simpaty are with you like always. Be strong,God Bless you and Darlene.
Dave , praying for a Christmas mircale my friend! Mark
Hey Gang just got off the phone with Dave's daughter. They have admitted Dave to the hospital with possible conjestive heart failure. Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts!
Damn!
:(
I got an email the other day from him with a pic of him in his silly hat...but in bed with what he thought was the "bug"...
Prayers abound...he's one of the good guys!
Lord in your Mercy...
yes he is Doc!
Talked to Bear on the phone last night, the doctors didn't like the results of the blood work so it looks like he getting a heart catherization Monday.
Now the doctors are thinking when he was complaing about his legs in October it wasn't his sugar but his heart.
So at least they are on the right track, keep the prayers comming as they are GREATLY appreciated. God Bless!
I keep sending the emails for whenever he gets them...
So sad that docs take the most obvious path often and could have avoided further damage to his heart...
Old Dave is a trooper from way back...
Be sure to tell him I said, "hey!" next time you talk to him... I just have his home #.
Prayers continue
Continued prayers on their way for Bear.
Praying for you Dave.

Praying for God's perfect will and for Dave to know Him close
Well, Jeff... been a busy day that just went to hell reading that bit of news! :( Like I posted earlier, how long has this been going on that they just took the easy diagnosis of his blood sugar--now all this damage! :(
Lord in your Mercy, hear our prayers for our friend David.
Galen, David has a strong faith that has carried him thru many trials. He's always close to his Father in Heaven.
My prayers will be that he surprises them gnarly ole docs and comes thru this grinning ear to ear.
God knows best, but our prayers reach His ears.
Godspeed, David. Prayers for you lifted up!
wow I hate seeing this stuff. Prayers always for my brother and his family.<><
Prayers offered for God's will and mercy!
More prayers that this morning brings good news from the Leuscher family and DAve has made it thru the perilous operation.
Lord in your Mercy...
Well Gang keep up your prayers and thoughts comming as they are working. Just yesterday afternoon the doctors where saying there is not much hope and his heat is un-opertable nothing they can do.
Thank God the doctors don't have the final say as Dr. Jesus said hold on I am not done. Just this morning Dave called me (first time he has had strenght to talk since being admitted) said he had a good night they tried a procedure that relieved the pressure off his heart. Now the doctors are telling him if he keeps improving and stablized like he is they will be able to do his bypass surgery in 2 weeks. Glory to God!
Thanks for your continued prayers and support.
Don't give up Dave, prayers for you my friend!I want to hear more stories of you in Grayling.
Thank you Lord.<><
Praying for Dave and family
Been away a few days w/out internet...dreaded a bit to check this page..."Oh ye of li'l faith :(
Thank you, Lord, indeed, Stick!!!
I hope the family sneaks him some Co-Q-10 supplements! And indeed the surgery can be performed as needed...
Lord in your Mercy...
Thanks be to God for the good news! Continued prayers for Dave and his family.
I received an update from Dave's wife the other day. She say he was doing very well. They are removing the SWAN and are not concentrating on removing more fluid from around his lungs. She says to keep the prayers coming as he is not out of the woods yet. Next thing we can hope for is he gets strong enough to get that bypass surgery.
Tom
Praise God and prayers for God's best
Thanks, Tom.
I just hate to call and add to their already full plate of trying to keep folks apprised of Dave's condition.
That is such good news to hear ole ornery is holding his own and hopefully gaining ground.
Lord in your mercy...
Amen!<><
Prayers sent.
Dave sent me a text yesterday. It read: "A little improvement today. Keep the prayers coming Please."
Will do dave,
Tom
The fact he's texting is superb right there!
You go, Dave! Keep it going, brother!
You and the Lord will whup them docs yet!
I received a picture from Dave's wife yesterday. It showed him up and walking with assistance. The power of prayer is sure strong. Come on by-pass surgery. I believe that with his surgery, a years rest, rehab and a heart healty diet we may see him at a camp fire again, God willing.
Tom
Praise God!
Given your input Tom, I tried a text to Dave myself...and got a reply today... I keep buggin him to get some Co-Q-10 supplements. Medical journals are full of research how that supplement, that used to be in the soil and our foods, actually took people off heart transplant lists!
Obviously, docs don't know it all or they'd not have just brushed this off as his diabetes so long...
We need to stop abdicating our health to people who's job is called a "practice". :)
Prayers for Dave's full recovery---return to strength and healthy living and full activity!
Lord in your Mercy!
Let's keep those prayers coming. Last update was that he was moved out of IC on Thursday. Things are looking up :) .
This is Fantastic news still praying hard for you brother<><
Thank you, Jesus!!! Not out of the woods yet, but out of the swamp!
Lord, In YOUR Mercy... hear our prayers!
Always good to hear encouraging news. We're still with you Dave.

Dave,
You are in my thoughts and prayers tonight.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord, for His love and goodness endures forever! So very glad that our prayers have made it through, and Dave is healing well and showing signs of resurgence! My family and I will continue our prayers for Dave and his family that he regains enough strength to be able to have the bypass and a long, healthy loving his family, friends, bows and fellowship.
Lord, we humbly seek your continued grace and healing for our brother Dave and his family as they endure this time of trial. Be with them, and give your angels charge of them, that they may know Your love, mercy, and power. Father, all this we ask in the name of the Blessed and Holy Trinity, amen.
Please keep us posted as the news comes, and send Dave our love from NC.
Peace,
Praise God!
With the encouraging news last we heard, I went and text Dave's cell today...asking if any better?
Several hours later I got a simple reply text.
"very weak".
Well, that wasn't what I wanted to hear! :(
I had seriously hoped our prayers and the Lord's Will would have seen David continuing to be improved... but improvement is one things, "very weak" could be where he is and still progress.
Let's redouble our prayers for Dave's healing and ability to endure surgery!
