I am at a loss for words over the massacre of 20 children and 6 adults at the school in Newtown, Conn today. I can't even imagine someone being sick enough to do this. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family's there who have lost children and loved ones. I hope you all share my same thoughts and say some prayers for them too. Mods, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, however I hope you understand.

I was just watching coverage of it on CNN and all I could think of was what if that happened at my kids' school.
We all will be praying for the families of the lost little ones. And the adults. It makes you even more greatful for what you have. Can't even imagine what they are going through. Prayers from Minnesota
Its crazy. I cant even begin to understand what in the world could make someone even come up with the idea of wanting to do this. Its absolutly terrible. There are some real sick people out there. Deep heartfelt prayers for the familys. I truely am sorry.
I have a 6yr, 3yr, and 4month old and this casualty is extremely disturbing.

I was devastated when I got home from work and heard the terrible news. My prayers go out to the victims families. It is a very sad day in our country when something of this nature happens.
There are several threads on this evil thing that has happened. Read them all. There is a list of all the victims names and birth dates. Write them down. Pray for their families.

It's all I can do right now. I cannot fathom such a tragedy. The words "child[ren]" and "killed" should NEVER exist in the same paragraph, let alone sentence. For now I will simply continue to pray for the victims and the survivors.
