I'm looking to find one of those !
Love it. You don't get beauty like that with maple laminates.
Does anyone know what the NE Plus Ultra designation meant? The NE part in particular.

Ne Plus Ultra is a Latin phrase meaning:
the highest point capable of being attained
the most profound degree of a quality or state
Thank you Red. I never studied any Latin so I was clueless.
Zwickey,
They are out there and can be purchased right.
Trying to sell a great bow for what it is worth is a tough sell at the moment. I therefore turned into a purchaser for the time being. I bought a great old Howatt Hunter for $103 and have another equally as good deal in the works.

Yes, the Martin Scorpion can be purchased now. I have had mine since December 2015. I obtained it directly from Martin at the time but 3 Rivers is now selling them on their website. I have several Martin bows and am always on the look out for more of them. The Scorpion is a snappy bow, quick, quiet and accurate but, in my opinion not as forgiving as the Martin Hunter.
Here's my Hunter in action. I gave it to my son several years ago however he doesn't have a lot of time to shoot these days. He has good form and is a good shot considering he's in his late 40s and really hadn't shot a bow since he was 20.

Just noticed you can see the blur of a white capped XX75 Autumn Orange arrow I made for the bow.
Nice bow and great pic of arrow at speed.
Looking good Reddogge!! Great picture! There's nothing like a vintage DH Martin bow!!
These are awesome. I love Bears but there are so many great bows out there deserving of Bow Porn!
