How is the medallion attached to Green Stripe Bear TD risers. Just epoxied on the surface, inletted, some sort of screw/ friction fit plug, etc. ?
I'm going to add a quiver insert and the medallion is located just about exactly where I would like to put it. Hoping to figure out a way where the medallion might cover the insert when not in use.
Can install the insert above the medallion, but would look a little busy there.
Should just be on a friction post so there is a small hole there already when you remove it.
Any advice as to how to remove it without damaging it? Any tool that will grab the edge of the coin or that I can work under it to pry it out, if that's the way to go?
Dental floss around the medallion.
Keep easy upward pulling as you go round and round the medallion.
It will come out.
Thanks, Phil. I'll give that a try. Does itv make any difference whether I go clockwise or counter-clockwise?
Wait a minute. I think I misunderstood your initial advice. Think I have it now. Work the string under the medallion and pull. Thanks.
Consider going back with something other than the cheap plastic medallion ... here is what I did to mine.
I embedded an old Waltham wrist compass which was issued to all WW2 pilots to help them navigate there way back behind enemy lines if shot down.

Here is the shelf side ... I ended up lowering the shelf by 5/8" and putting a nice radius on it for good arrow flight.
