Welcome Back Doc, Trap
Well Danny as all of us old bowhunters would say right about now.....nope nothing. But I had a great time.I really did have a great time and had several chances at elk.But things were just not right at the time.As soon or if Chad gets his email working and sends me the pics I will post a couple pics of two nice bulls...One 6X7 that was one really nice bull...I had him at 20 yards broadside one morning for 2 minutes...with a Danny Rowan forgewood knocked on my Bear take down...he wanted me to shoot him...but I had no branched bull permit this year and had to set him free...man that hunt me bad,but one good time just the same..bowdoc PS the forgewoods shot great
Great to see ya back Doc..Missed all your good input
We need pics, Doc
Welcome back...you got a lot of catching up to do.
welcome home Doc. Don't forget the pics! :wavey:
Seems like you were gone for months, Doc. Glad you are safe at home.............Shick
Hey Denny it was only one month....I know I should have shot something in that amount of time. But we were haveing such a great time.I did not want to spoil it by getting all bloody..Seen plenty of critters.I would make no excuss for my piss pour shooting. But I did manage to miss a cow elk opening morning at about 30 yards...but broadside with her head down feeding...I know I should have waited another 1-2 minutes as she was working right towards me...but as luck (for her) would have it...I got a very small case of buck fever or in this case elk fever.I figured I have made that shot about 1,000 time praticeing in my yard and knew I could do it.The 25 mile an hr cross wind played no part in the miss eather....6 inches low right under the chest...It was her lucky day I guess.....pretty cool just the same...We'll talk soon.bowdoc
Pics are getting closer, Always a blessing to be up there, i think next year Ward we need a helicopter, then it would be fair chase,Besides we have to much fun to get dirty and have to come home.It sure was the year to see bears and Bulls, Keep ya posted, Warberg
I will keep an eye open for pics...you can email them to me or you can load then right here....keep me posted.........bowdoc
