Title: Star stamp on my 62 Bear Kodiak Magnum

I have a star stamped over AMO number on my rise i was told this means it was an overstock item is that true?

I always thought it was a demo model! I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!   :bigsmyl:

I think the single star meant it was sent back to the factory for warranty work and a double star was a factory second model,,,,,,not sure though. I know for sure my 62 kodi-mag is a shooter, how do you like yours?

You got it SirRobin,about 90% of the Bear bows with a A Star X 2 22's and Y stamped were just that overstock or last years model sold at a discount price....generaly sold to archery lanes chruch groups boy and girl scout troops exc....bowdoc

Yes flinger my Kmag shoots very well and often. ;-)
Does the star hurt the value?

I was low bidder on that bow twice on fleabay, then I kind of forgot about it. hope it shoots great for You SirRobin.
