What do you guys think a Grayling wood "A" handle signed by Fred Bear twice and Glenn St. Charles thrice be worth in todays market. It has 1 little nick in the riser overlay and that is it, never shot, never had limbs installed. This dude pulls it out everytime we start talking Fred and I handle it with extreme caution. What do you guys think???????
Pretty cool, value would be a tough call with todays market kinda up and down...But those are very collectable...mostly what the market will bear........bowdoc
How much is it worth to you? That is the question.
I have mint condition '70 B riser that came with a set of 43# #2 red tip 1971 limbs (not mint) and I gave $1200 for it about 4 years ago.
Is it worth that? Yhat is whatt he other bidders pushed it up to.
They are worth what someone will pay. No more, no less.
I know the SN is A-16XX so I'm guessing it is a 71. I love the conversation's I have with him on old Fred Bear's.
A-16xx would be a type I handle, worth a little more than a type II imo. $1,500 would be a good start, maybe more with the signatures. good luck.
Trying to figure out why someone would sign it more than once....hmmmmm......
The St. Charles signatures were from Pope and Young banquets, 93, 95, 97 and I'd imagine that is also where he had Freb Bear sign it.
Well,Fred passed on to the Happy Hunting Grounds in 1988 so I doubt he signed it when Glenn did.
