Title: Kodiak Magnum Age Value?

I was wanting to Know the Age of my Kodiak Mag it is a amo52" 8U5226 serial no it is Green? with a gold medalion flush mounted it shoots fine and is in mint condition I have the original string but do not shoot that string it is a 55lb bow w  :bigsmyl:    :confused:    :confused:

Do you mean green limbs or green riser?  If that's the full serial number it was made in 1968.  If so, it should have a natural colored wood riser, not the green Bear Futurwood used in the early 1970's.

your right it has green limbs and nataul wood riser white phonolic on limb tips and on front of riser Bear glass powered written on top limb

Gordon;

Your bow is a 1968 for sure.  I have the same bow in 55# only it's a 1962.  Very nice shooting bow.  1962's were made from Brazilian Rosewood.  
Not sure what Bear made those 1968 Kodiak Mags out of.  I have a 1968 Kodiak Hunter made of Shedua, and a 1968 Kodiak Grizzly made of Tigerwood.
