i havent made it to the woods in a few days to hunt. a bad cold has side lined me for a few days. so to kill the boredom i decided to partake in my recent bounty in the great outdoors of my back yard. for lunch i desided to have this (http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/ahuntersstew013.jpg)the ingredients are as follows. fresh venison tenderloin, 3 strips of bacon,2 small potatoes, fresh baby carrots,1 garden grown bell pepper,1 can of stewed mushrooms, and lipton onion soup mix
i wanted to cook it is primitive as i could get away with , residential rules and such so i broke this out (http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/ahuntersstew014.jpg)i got the bacon heated up added the tenderloin in to be browned, cut up into bite size chunks of course (http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/ahuntersstew015.jpg) (http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/ahuntersstew017.jpg)
after the meat is brown on the outside. it takes just a minute or 2. i added 1 1/2 cup of water and lipton onion soup mix and the vegitables (http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/ahuntersstew018.jpg) i stirred all together, brought to a simmer and covered (http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/ahuntersstew021.jpg) (http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/ahuntersstew019.jpg) sorry for the pics out of order, amature pictorial at work
