Title: firecrackers
Post by: Bodork on February 01, 2006, 08:19:00 PM
These are the best tasting and easiest to make snack crackers I have ever eaten:

One box of Zesta Wheat crackers
Two Tablespoons crushed red peppers (+or- to taste)
1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder (+ or - to taste)
One package dry ranch salad dressing
1-1/3 cups canola or vegatable oil

In small bowl, mix all ingredients except crackers.
Place entire box of unbroken crackers in large oven bag or suitable equal.
Pour mixed ingredients over crackers and toss gently until crackers are evenly and completely coated.
Pour 'em out into a big bowl that you can cover.
Let 'em sit until the oil is absorbed.

Enjoy them. The longer they sit the better they are. Excellent with summer sausage or cheese. Mike

I made a batch of these and they are GREAT, do yourself a favor and make some. Mine took a long time to dry though, i didnt know if a little time in the oven would help.
