it seems when i hook the string with my wrist in and fingers out i get a better release i really cant figure out why but the arrow goes where i want it too, can anyone give me some input and help?
if you fast forward to this video to 2.40 it is much like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-l2zKIEYeA
It seems to me at that point of the video, he is demonstrating taking less of a deep hook than before. Is that what you're talking about?
no notice how his wrist is in and fingers are flared out?
I can see him starting his draw with his wrist bent in and his fingers not quite hooked, but at full draw his form looks pretty good: fingers hooked and wrist straight. If you want to start your draw the way he does, it shouldn't be a problem, as long as you end up the way he does at full draw.
I wouldn't try to learn to shoot from his videos.
