What finger to you use to anchor at the corner of your mouth. I recently went from my index finger to my middle finger and had better accuracy. Just curious what others do.
Middle finger, three under.
Index.
Middle/split.
middle finger and shoot split.
Middle, but I have to have a second to be accurate. I lock my second thumb joint behind my jawbone.
Split , middle .....
,,,,Sam,,,
I guess I should have mentioned I shoot 3 under.
Split middle, index three under. That keeps the perspective the same if I switch. I also lock my thumb behind my jaw bone and my index knuckle is under my Occipital bone.
split, middle.
I was going to take a selfie of my middle finger and post but thought better of it. So I will have to say middle finger.Thumb knuckle back of Jaw bone.
middle but also use a double anchore
Middle- 3 under
Middle, split
Middle finger, 3 under
Middle 3 under but also feather on my nose for second anchor. Got to the point I can't release unless that feather is touching my nose. I had to adjust where my feathers are on arrow. Slightly further back than most.
After experimenting around I settled on index with 3-under. I get a better feel of the anchor that way -- but that's just me.

middle , three under
Middle three under. This post would have made a nice "poll"
Split finger. I anchor with my middle finger on my upper canine tooth. It is bone and cannot move not like the soft tissue at the corner of the mouth that can move or,stretch. I also touch my cheek bone to my third knuckle of my index finger and my first thumb knuckle on the corner of my jaw.
I had never locked behind my jawbone. Tried it tonight and seemed to work good. it felt very natural.
index-3 under
split middle
Middle/Split :archer2:
Middle/split.
Index finger, shooting split....guess I'm the odd ball on this one.
Here is a real odd ball one for ya. I anchor with my thumb knuckle in the corner of my mouth and my index finger on the tip of my nose. 3 under. no weight on the top finger at full draw. (screwy right?? Works for me though. ...
I'm with you Arctic Hunter. I shoot split, Index in corner of mouth. Thumb gets anchored under jaw.
It works for me when I can keep my head in the game.
Michael, I have a hard time picturing that anchor. But at least its working for you, thats all that matters.
Split, middle...not sure what I do with me thumb if anything.
Index, split
Middle...split
Middle/split.

none-
thumb knuckle behind jaw/under ear lobe- head tipped forward slightly- touching cock feather- ala Rick Welch method- great 2 point system - ensuring consistent draw and proper back tension for me.
ANCHOR!!! Mostly out in the air, but have been known to do split w middle finger at corner... varies depending on how empty my mind is....
Middle with second anchor behind jawbone, split
"Middle with second anchor behind jawbone, split"
Me too!
Middle split
I anchor with my index finger touching the sharp end of my upper canine tooth, three under...
Middle finger/ 3 under
middle 3 under
Split, and I have no idea where my mouth is. Second thumb knuckle to just under earlobe, and nose down 'till it touches the feather. Or if I shoot cock feather in, till sight picture duplicates that.
Index shooting split, also my hand snug under my cheekbone.
Index, split, thumb under jaw bone.
Split finger, index right under cheekbone.
Split middle finger. When i am horsing around
with shots of 40 or more yards I use my index finger.
Middle finger always
Index......3 under
